This replaces all your Zen Water System Filtration systems both Countertop and Water Cooler models.
The Micro-Ceramic Filter is made of highly compressed ceramic with diatomic properties; resistant to extremely high temperature.

The Ceramic Filter has a pore diameter of 0.2 micron while most bacteria range from 0.3 to 1.0 micron in size. The Ceramic Filter will keep dirt, sand, other particles and bacteria such as typhoid, cholera and amoeba from getting into Zen's drinking water.

If you own a Zen Water Filter System and you need to purchase replacement filters, be sure you watch which vendor you purchase from. Purenex products won't fit in the Zen Water Systems so be wary. After searching reviews for a while, I bought this Multi-Pure countertop unit. We have been using it for over a month now. The water that comes out of it is perfect! Absolutely crystal clear, and tastes better than bottled water. The water comes out fast enough to fill a pot in less than a minute. Overall I'm very pleased. The only reason I give it four stars instead of five is the price, which is high even compared to a year's supply of the 2.5 gallon bottled waters from the grocery store. But if clean, clear, convenient water is important to you, then it's worth it. The pitcher had to be refilled frequently because I usually drink alot of water throughout the day plus filling my water bottle to take to work. My brother had been using the countertop filter for at least a year and recommended it to me. It's easy to install and use and the water tastes great and I don't have to keep refilling it. NO more awkard handling of a big water pitcher. I also enjoy the ability to switch between unfiltered and filtered water. It is small in size and not too bad to look at. If you already bought Brita On Tap, then you have just two choices for new filters: white or chrome. For my kitchen, I prefer chrome. These filters are expensive and they only seem to last a few weeks before the green light turns amber, then red, indicating that a replacement is needed. Don't trust the light. Try removing the filter cartridge, shaking it, and replacing it. In my experience, this almost always makes the light turn green again. These should each last months of casual use (~1 gallon per day), not weeks. They were using a pitcher for all their drinking water so I thought that a faucet filter would be a nice upgrade for them. The installation was a little rough. It was difficult to get the threads on the faucet to line up and form a tight seal with the filter unit. Once everything was lined up, there were no leaks. The biggest drawback is that the flow of the filtered water is pretty slow. It takes several minutes to fill a coffeepot, but it's still faster than waiting for the water to drip through the pitcher.
